In case you missed photos My Last Trip...Summer 2008

Traveling with my daughter and son-in-law and his mother, we began our trip with 6 days in Paris living in the shadow of Notre Dame.  From the top of the Eiffel Tower to the grandeur of Versailles to a fab shopping spree in Galleries Lafayette.  The highlight, a Vivaldi concert in the stunning Saint Chappelle.

Then traveling southwest, we visited the fabulous Dordogne region, filled with chateaux, grand winding rivers, ochre and yellow houses against the green verdant valleys.  Stayed in a home 10 feet from the Beynac castle wall.  Felt like the castle keepers!

Then on to Provence and a warm and welcoming farmhouse near Avignon where the owner had a delicious meal of ratatouille and lamb, wild strawberries, cheese and wine ready for us on our arrival.  Day trips to Roman sites and the Mediterranean filled our days.
